Puttering...

It's a tote!
No... it's a squished up piece of fabric.
See, the button in the middle? I was messing around trying to come up with a bag that could be folded and stored as an extra. In the end, I think I decided that the bag's so nice it could be used for every day, not just hidden in some one's purse or car as an extra. Anyone care to weigh in? I'm whipping some up for a craft sale in November. I'd love to hear people's opinions....

Definitely too cute to keep rolled up - I love this, perfect for the store, library, market....

Put some pockets on the inside for keys, phone, etc and that is one rad bag. I love to have an extra bag in my diaper bag that I can whip out to take into places with me-- like it's both a diaper bag and a purse? Make sense? To boot, I'd make a wrap up thingy to hold diapers/wipes that unrolls to a changing pad in a coordinating set that you could sell separately. I have such a pattern if you want to use mine-- lord knows I'll never have time to do sew for myself again...

I LOve it! It is so pretty and simple!!!!
Last night I used a similar bag to take a few beverage bottles(wine, gin, tonic, and kids h2o) to a friends for dinner. I noted that the shorter handles made it much easier/safer for carrying such precious cargo(no swinging wildly). It is a trade off because this is one bag you couldn't put over your shoulder. I think you might have to make several designs or handle lengths to please us all!!!
Love your work!!

I think it is a great idea to make a bag that can be folded up and used as an extra. And it is an added bonus that is looks so nice!
